This 14-day, 13-night tour of Egypt offers a comprehensive journey through the country’s most iconic destinations. Starting in Cairo, you will explore its majestic pyramids, magnificent museum, Coptic quarter, Citadel of Saladin, and Khan El Khalili bazaar. You will then embark on a Nile cruise to discover the impressive temples and funerary monuments of Luxor, Abu Simbel, and the Valley of the Kings. In Aswan, you will visit the city and its famous dam. You will also have the opportunity to visit Mount Sinai and the Monastery of Saint Catherine or the Transfiguration Monastery. The crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh offer the chance to enjoy various water sports. Finally, you will visit the cosmopolitan city of Alexandria, known for its rich history. Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival In Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will be there to assist you with all the necessary international procedures, such as visa, passport control, and customs. They will also ensure a fast exit from the airport. You’ll be accompanied to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for a comfortable and hassle-free transfer.

Day 2 Great Pyramid | Sphinx | Saqqara

After breakfast, your guide will accompany you on a visit to one of the world’s most enigmatic sites the Giza plateau complex and Saqqara.

Your tour will begin with a visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in Giza. You will have the opportunity to explore the pyramid’s chambers and learn about the construction techniques used to build this incredible structure.

Next, you will head to the Great Sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head. The Sphinx is believed to have been built during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre and is one of the most iconic landmarks in Egypt.

You will have lunch break at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional Egyptian cuisine.

After lunch, you will head to Saqqara, an ancient burial ground that contains many pyramids, tombs, and temples. The highlight of this site is the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt.

Finally, you’ll be transported back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Great Dam & Philae Temple, Nubian Village

You will have an early breakfast and head to Cairo airport for the flight to Aswan. Upon your arrival you will be assisted by our representative.

You will start your Visit with the great Aswan Dam and the famous Temple of the goddess Isis on Philae Island in the Nile, after concluding your day tour, you will Check-in to the boat and have lunch on board. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to have an optional visit by felucca to the Nubian village, heavily influenced by the culture of Ancient Egypt.

Dinner on board and overnight stay.

Day 4 Abu Simbel & Kom Ombo

After breakfast, you will have the option to visit the temple of Abu Simbel (approximately 3 hours drive), once arrived, you will start your Guided tour of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari’s temple, during the visit you will have Free time to explore the site and take photos.

After concluding your visit, you will be transferred back to Aswan by your driver (approximately 3 hours drive). Once arrived you will have lunch  on board of the cruise as the journey continues towards Kom Ombo. Where, you will have the opportunity to explore the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus, who were depicted as a crocodile and a falcon, respectively. After the visit, return to the boat for an oriental dinner and a fantasy party. The boat will then navigate towards Edfu, where you will spend the night.

Day 5 Visit Of The Temples (Edfu, Luxor & Karnak Temple)

After breakfast, you will depart by carriage to visit the Temple of Edfu, a well-preserved Greco-Roman temple dedicated to the god Horus. It is the second-largest temple in Ancient Egypt, surpassed only by the Temple of Karnak in Luxor. Upon returning to the boat, lunch will be served, and the journey will continue towards Luxor. You will visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak, with the latter being dedicated to the god Amun and serving as the primary place of worship in Egypt during the New Kingdom. The temple was embellished by pharaohs for over two millennia, while the construction of the Luxor Temple was primarily promoted by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Visiting these temples will transport you to the fascinating world of the gods, which was once accessible only to high priests and pharaohs. After concluding your visit, you will have dinner and spend the night on board.

Day 6 Valley Of The Kings | Temple Of Hatshepsut | Cairo

After breakfast, you will depart to visit the west bank, also known as “the Necropolis of Thebes.” Here, you will explore the Valley of the Kings, a rocky valley where pharaohs such as Tutankhamun were buried in hypogea adorned with stunning paintings and accompanied by lavish funerary objects. With a backdrop of desert ravines, you will see the majestic funerary temple of Hatshepsut, consisting of a series of terraces and porticos adorned with vivid relief pillars. The Colossi of Memnon, twin statues standing at around eighteen meters high, protected the main entrance of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Later, you will depart at the scheduled time to Luxor airport to catch a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and will check-in for the night in Cairo.

Day 7 Egyptian Museum | Citadel | Coptic District | Khan El Khalili (Optional)

Enjoy breakfast, you will start your tour at the Egyptian Museum, where you’ll explore the vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, including the famous treasures of Tutankhamun. Afterwards you will depart to visit the Citadel of Sultan Saladin and the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, following a stroll through the Coptic area to visit a significant church where the Holy Family sought refuge. You will have lunch at a typical restaurant. You will have the opportunity to make an optional visit to the ancient Khan El Khalili bazaar, where you can shop for souvenirs and experience the vibrant atmosphere of this historic market. After the tour, return to the hotel to Spend the night in Cairo.

Day 8 St. Catherine Monastery

After breakfast you will start your guided tour by car to the Saint Catherine region in Sinai. Along the way, we’ll cross the Suez Canal and make a stop at the biblical site of mara Moses, where 12 wells of water came out (we’ll see 3). Upon arrival at the hotel, you’ll check in and settle in for your stay. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the first monastery in the world, Saint Catherine. This ancient and historic monastery is one of the oldest still inhabited, and it is a biblical site where tradition says that Moses saw the “burning bush” and received the Ten Commandments. After the visit, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 9 Mount Sinai | Sharm El Sheikh

Get ready for an early start as you will wake up before dawn to embark on a climb up Mount Sinai during the night. The ascent will take approximately 3-4 hours, but it will be worth it to witness a breathtaking sunrise from the top of Mount Mouses. After descending the mountain, you will return to the hotel to collect your luggage and continue our journey to the city of Sharm el Sheikh. Once you arrive, you will check in the hotel and have a free afternoon to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea and relax on the beach.

Day 10 & 11 Sharm El Sheikh

You will have two days to enjoy the various water sports available in the Red Sea, such as snorkeling, diving, or taking a boat trip to explore the underwater world. You can also spend time exploring the city of Sharm el Sheikh, which offers a unique mix of traditional Egyptian culture and modern amenities. Visit local markets, restaurants, and cafes to experience the local culture and cuisine. Whatever you choose to do, make sure to take advantage of this opportunity to fully enjoy the natural wonders and cultural offerings of Sharm el Sheikh.

Day 12 Sharm El Sheikh | Cairo

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh and proceed to the airport to take your return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be assisted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. Spend the night in Cairo, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences and memories of your journey through Egypt.

Day 13 Alexandria

After breakfast, you will depart for Alexandria, which is approximately a 3-hour drive with a stop. Upon arrival, you will visit the Catacombs, a historical burial site consisting of a series of tombs and chambers. Next, you will visit the magnificent Alexandria Library, which is considered one of the most significant cultural centers in the world. After lunch, you will visit the Quaitbay Fortress, which is the location where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. Following the tour, you will return to Cairo and check-in to your hotel for the night.

Day 14 Departure

After your breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel, and we’ll take you back to the Cairo International Airport for your return flight to your home country. We hope you had an amazing trip to Egypt and leave with unforgettable memories of this beautiful and fascinating country.
